Event: Exercises in Economic Futurism

By Katja Grace, 15 July 2015

On Thursday July 30th Robin Hanson is visiting again, and this time we will be holding an informal workshop on how to usefully answer questions about the future, with an emphasis on economic approaches. We will pick roughly three concrete futurism questions, then think about how to go about answering them together. We hope both to make progress on the questions at hand, and to equip attendees with a wider range of tools for effective futurism.

Topic suggestions are welcome in the comments, whether or not you hope to come.

Afternoon tea will be provided.
